He has a degree in Economics, to please his
parents, but he's been passionate about fashion since
he was very young and also attended the Textile Institute of Prato (Italy).
At the end of his studies, he created with a friend the first jeans fabric models.
Lebole was the first to make him proposals that he did not accept,
preferring to maintain stand-alone guidelines. It therefore granted
its cooperation with some major industries
and then created knitwear collections for Marcko’s Alexander, the
prêt-à-porter line for Erreuno and leather clothing for Sader's.
In 1979, he made his debut with his own dynamic prêt-à-porter line that
critics and public appreciated it. His first collection
for men presented in Milan in the summer of 1980 collected a
success that prompted him to make his debut in the following season
with a collection for women.
In this debut, there are all the salient connotations of his
style: search for unusual fine fabrics, tendency of volume,
precision of the cut and precision of the finish.
Since then, the growth of his brand has been very rapid.

"Charm"
In 1985, Gian Marco Venturi becomes S.p.A. and starts
to produce, in addition to prêt-à-porter, sportswear, tracksuits,
underwear, shirts for men, ties, socks, leather goods,
jewelry, perfumes and glasses.
In addition to the three mono-brand boutiques in Japan and the 12
franchise stores, Gian Marco Venturi has granted the exclusive
sale to "Swank Shop" in Hong Kong and Taiwan and "Man
and His Woman" in Singapore. Moreover, Gian Marco Venturi
products have been distributed in more than 500 stores among
the most qualified in terms of image and prestige in Italy and abroad.
Venturi has declared the ideal man and woman for his type of
fashion: Rupert Everett for his natural elegance and his very
European class. and Charlotte Rampling because she is a chic
woman, but with an accentuated femininity to which the years
have added a new and finer charm.
Even though Milan is the city that has expanded its operating
space the most, Florence is still his hometown.
As soon as he can, he returns to Florence to take care of his plants.

He graduated in Economics, but always had a passion for fashion and style. One of his first big success was “jeans” and he created the real new fashion in “jeans” , becoming the first very “Big” Italian designer in Japan exactly with his Jeans Collection.
"Search"
Born as an “Italian Designer” in 1979 , his first fashion shows were favorably welcomed by critic, public and buyers: his highlights have always been research for new fabrics, volumes, avantgarde trends, accuracy in details.
The growth of the brand was very fast and very soon reckoned among the top ten of Italian designers.
Already in 1985 he started to sign licenses for various products such as casual wear, underwear, men’s shirts, ties, socks, leather goods, customs jewelry, eyewear and perfumes.
Then shops in Japan were opened and shops in franchising in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, United States then followed.
